Le Macinaie: a new way of celebrating Your special marriage.

In the year 2002 The Le Macinaie lodge have more than 800 weddings on there shoulders. This proposal is for couples who wish a to get married in Monte Amiata - Tuscany . The couple, friends and family is invited to a special feast the evening before the wedding, with buffet, live music and cabaret. A special moment with time to talk with friends and family in a joyful way. In the end of the evening the Tuscany tradition challenge the groom to sing a serenade to the bride.

 In the morning breakfast buffet. For Your special wedding You can chose between one of the churches that surrounds the mountain. You find them located in the old towns of Santa Fiora, Arcidosso, Castel del Piano, Abbadia San Salvatore, Piancastagnaio. You can also chose the ceremony in one of the medieval abbeys. 300 meters from the Macinaie lodge it is a small mountain church with the name “San Francesco alle Macinaie”. After the ceremony we bring the newlyweds in the restaurant. It is the beginning of the traditional wedding lunch with music and amusement.
